ZAHRA SWANZY works as an independent curator, motivational speaker and creative collaborator.
She lives in London with a large collection of wigs and hair dye.
2013 - to present
Through various DIY projects she investigates and explores relational aesthetics, intersectional feminism and storytelling of marginalized voices.
As a strong believer of self-expression via creative arts, Swanzy is able to channel that through ROADFEMME- a global zine in which she collates raw and honest pieces (primarily from womxn) and prints into a physical newspaper.
2012 to present
All her curatorial and creative endeavors are often in raw-spaces and highlight the connection between power structures, sexuality, identity and community.
LONDON POSITIVE is the umbrella of Youth work she co-ordinates and facilitates as well as seasonal mentoring schemes.
